PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT LAUNCHES IMPROVED WEBSITE

PITTSBURGH – As part of a commitment to improving customer service, Pittsburgh International Airport has launched an all-new, visually and functionally improved website flypittsburgh.com featuring information on flights, parking availability, and security wait times.

This new tool will assist passengers, airport partners, employees and the general public in learning about the airport, providing easily accessible flight information and guiding visitors through the airport with an interactive map. The site incorporates the airport’s new brand identity and is designed specifically with passengers’ needs in mind.

“The new website puts the focus on information that travelers and airport visitors need most – security wait times, parking capacity, flight times and getting around the terminal,” said Paul O’Rourke, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “This information is presented front and center in a format that highlights beautiful, modern images of our airport and city.”

The site, which is optimized for mobile devices, is designed to capture the resurgence of Pittsburgh International Airport ꟷ which has added 30 new nonstop destinations since 2014 ꟷ and to better reflect the airport’s vision and mission of increasing regional growth and prosperity.

One major new feature on the site is an interactive terminal map showing the precise locations of shops, restaurants and other airport amenities in both the Landside and Airside terminals in an easy, interactive format. Other new features include sections on Careers, Business Opportunities, News and Visiting Pittsburgh.

The new site will help keep the community informed about events planned at the airport as well as updates about its continuing growth. Website pages and maps will be updated frequently through a new content management system to give passengers more up-to-date information and a better online airport experience.

“Pittsburgh International Airport constantly seeks to improve customer service and provide additional amenities and programs that make travel easier, more efficient and more enjoyable,” O’Rourke said.
