PITTSBURGH — To identify and engage companies in upcoming bid packages for the Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) at Pittsburgh International Airport, the Allegheny County Airport Authority will conduct a combined Industry Event and Small Business Fair April 30 at the airport Hyatt Regency hotel.

The event will provide an opportunity for small businesses, contractors, construction companies, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) and others to learn about early site preparation packages to begin this fall and building construction expected to begin in 2020.

“This will be the fourth Industry Day and Small Business Fair event that we’ve offered related to the TMP, and we’ve had excellent attendance and engagement with local companies,” said Jenee Oliver, Business and Diversity Outreach Manager. “Our goal is to continue reaching out, providing the latest information and building relationships with potential partners.”

In addition to offering information on upcoming site preparation packages and an overview of general terminal construction packages for 2020-2023, the Industry Day event is open to local consultants, small businesses and vendors interested in doing business with the Airport Authority which manages Pittsburgh International and Allegheny County Airports.
