PITTSBURGH – Capitalizing on strong demand in the Pittsburgh market, JetBlue announced it will launch a fifth daily nonstop flight between Pittsburgh International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport starting March 2.
The additional weekday flight will depart PIT at 6 a.m. and arrive in Boston at 7:34 a.m. The additional return will depart Boston at 8:55 p.m. and arrive in Pittsburgh at 10:48 p.m.
The earlier arrival time on this additional JetBlue frequency into Boston will allow travelers to make a morning business meeting or offer more flight options including connecting to destinations such as Dubai and beyond on Emirates.
“Since landing in Pittsburgh more than a decade ago, travelers from the region have increasingly turned to JetBlue for our low fares and award-winning service,” said Dave Clark, Vice President Network Planning, JetBlue. “Now, with up to five daily roundtrips on our popular route between Pittsburgh and Boston, our loyal customers will benefit from even more choices when they fly JetBlue.”
With the additional frequency, JetBlue’s departure times in March to Boston are:
- 6 a.m.
- 8:45 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m.
- 3:55 p.m.
- 8:25 p.m.
JetBlue also serves Fort Lauderdale from Pittsburgh with once daily departures.
“JetBlue’s addition of another nonstop flight between Pittsburgh and Boston is another example of the growth at Pittsburgh International Airport and the strong business demand in our region,” Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald said.

Boston, which is also served by American Airlines, is Pittsburgh’s fourth largest destination with more than 300,000 people traveling between the cities annually.
