LISTEN FOR NEW VOICES OF PITTSBURGH ON THE TRAINS

Pittsburgh International Airport is adding new voices on the trains as part of its growing Voices of Pittsburgh program. From respected sporting events to renowned museums and educational institutions, these voices project a world-class welcome to our city.

Jo Ellen Parker, Andy Masich and Patrice Matamoros have joined the impressive Voices of Pittsburgh lineup that this week also includes CEO Christina Cassotis talking up our recent ATW Airport of the Year award.

Parker is the first woman to serve as President and CEO of the prestigious Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Listen up and join more than 1.3 million museum visitors each year. Check out current exhibits including “Transforming Fashion,” “The Amazing Butterflies” and the Humpback Whales show at Rangos Omnimax Theater, opening June 17 th.

Masich is President and CEO of the Senator John Heinz History Center and a commissioner of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Lend an ear during your travels and visit the Smithsonian-affiliated Senator John Heinz History Center family of museums and programs including the Heinz History Center, Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum and Fort Pitt Museum.

Matamoros, is the CEO of Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon, which takes place the first weekend in May and hosts over 30,000 runners for various events. Get ready to lace ‘em up along the famed course of 26.2 miles, that takes runners on a tour of the ‘burgh’s eclectic neighborhoods and over several famous bridges spanning the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers.

We’re pleased to feature the voices of these well-known Pittsburghers sharing why they are Pittsburgh proud and bringing more of our region’s wonderful assets and culture to more than 8 million travelers each year.
